Almost There!

Well, the swim clinic starts tomorrow marking the unofficial start of the Fall season. I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and getting my chlorine fix. I hope to see a lot of familiar faces at the clinic and I know I'll see some new ones. If you haven't already called or e-mailed me to sign up, no worries—just come on by tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. ready to get in the water and work on your strokes while having some fun.

Tomorrow also marks the first day with our new stars coach, Hess Yntema. Coach Hess brings a wealth of knowledge to Highland pool with his many years of coaching experience in all levels of swimming (and some water polo, too!) as well as a tremendous love for the sport. I'm very excited about this opportunity to work with such an enthusiastic individual and I know he will make our program stronger. Coach Hess will be there tomorrow and all week for the stroke and water polo clinic, so please stop in and introduce yourselves if you get a chance!

So this is our blog! It will not replace the usual means of communication i.e. e-mails or flyers, but I will be posting additional information here related to swimming, water polo, the world of swimming and more so keep an eye out.
